Known for his signature baritone and hits like "Ask About Me," "Pariwo," and "Peace," the Nigerian rapper MohBad's demise has left his legion of fans devastated.
Nigerian singer MohBad, whose real name was Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, passed away at the age of 27, his management has officially confirmed on social networks.

The cause of death has not been confirmed, however, in October 2022, the singer posted on X (formerly Twitter) that he was hospitalized as an emergency for hypertension. Back then, MohBad accused his manager, singer Naira Marley, of assault and claimed that his former boss had given orders for individuals to beat him up as a result of his announcement that he would be hiring a new manager to handle his music and commercial matters.
Local media has also speculated that the singer visited hospital on Tuesday to receive treatment for an infection he contracted as a result of an injury.
