VLADIVOSTOK, Russia (Sputnik) - North Korean leader Kim Jong Un left Pyongyang by special train in the afternoon of September 10 and is now heading to Russia, accompanied by senior officials from his government, according to the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
The meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will take place in the Russian Far East, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.
He noted that two delegations headed by the leaders of the countries would hold negotiations. In addition, there will be one-on-one communication, as well as an official dinner on behalf of Putin in honor of Kim Jong Un.

"There are no press conferences planned," Peskov noted.

Apart from that, the Kremlin's spokesperson has also revealed that Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu will participate in talks between Putin and Kim Jong Un.
Commenting on the upcoming meeting, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko noted that the issue of providing humanitarian aid to Pyongyang may be discussed during the visit of Kim Jong Un to Russia.
"All issues can be discussed. But humanitarian aid is excluded from Security Council resolutions. There are restrictions, but not on food. I will not predict the results, but since many representatives of our government are there, the issues will be discussed as a whole," Rudenko told reporters on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Russia's Vladivostok.
