Russia’s air defense system downed a
Ukrainian aircraft-type drone over the Belgorod Region on Friday, the country’s Defense Ministry said.
“On September 8 … the Kiev regime’s attempt to carry out a terrorist attack by an aircraft-type drone on targets on the Russian territory was thwarted. The deployed air defense systems destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle over the territory of the Belgorod Region,” the ministry said in a statement.
Earlier, the Kremlin commented on the Kiev regime's
