Pro-Government Somalian Militia Captures Two Bases of Somaliland Army, Reports Say

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Pro-government Somalian militia SSC-Khatumo has taken control of two key military bases belonging to the army of the breakaway Somaliland region near the city of Las Anod, Somalian media reported.
The SSC-Khatumo forces seized Somaliland army's military equipment and took soldiers prisoner on Friday, the local media said. One of the military bases seized by the militia was the army's largest one in Las Anod, the report added.
Sool province and its capital of Las Anod is a disputed territory between Somaliland and Puntland.
