Incumbent Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa, from the governing Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front party, has been re-elected for the second term following the results of the country's presidential election, Zimbabwean media reported on Sunday, citing the electoral commission. Mnangagwa received 52.6% of the votes, while his main opponent, Nelson Chamisa, leader of the opposition Citizens Coalition for Change party, gained 44%, the local media said. The turnout was 68.9%, with over 4.5 million people participating in the voting, the report added.
