MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi and United Arab Emirates President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in economy and development during a meeting in Egypt's Alamein City on Saturday, the Egyptian Presidency said.
"The two presidents emphasized the strong and distinguished relations between the two brotherly countries and discussed ways to continue strengthening the frameworks and mechanisms of joint cooperation between the two countries, including in the economic and development fields, so as to achieve the aspirations of the Egyptian and Emirati peoples towards progress, stability and prosperity," the presidency said on the website.
The leaders also exchanged views on regional and international developments.

"Views were aligned on the importance of intensifying joint Arab action to confront the growing regional and global challenges," the statement read.
The presidents affirmed their interest in the development of close coordination between the countries at all levels, the statement said.
