The regulatory and legal framework for cooperation between Russia and Africa is being improved, and training courses for African mass media professionals are already being organized, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media told Sputnik.The ministry also noted that a media forum was organized on the sidelines of the Russia-Africa Summit and the Economic and Humanitarian Forum held in St. Petersburg on July 27-28.During the forum, a memorandum on sharing experience and fostering joint projects in the field of mass communication was signed with Zimbabwe. In addition, partnership agreements were inked between Russian media organizations and other African countries.

The regulatory and legal framework for cooperation between Russia and Africa is being improved, and training courses for
African mass media professionals are already being organized, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media told Sputnik.
"The task of creating a common information space of Russia and Africa includes several areas of work, which the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media carries out on a permanent basis. The legal and regulatory framework for cooperation is being enhanced, the network of Russian media offices in Africa is being expanded, and training courses are being organized for media professionals from African countries," the ministry said.
The ministry also noted that a media forum was organized on the sidelines of the Russia-Africa Summit and the Economic and Humanitarian Forum held in St. Petersburg on July 27-28.
