Representatives from the Russian Ministry of Transport at the Russia-Africa Summit discussed with officials from Malawi and Burkina Faso the development of cooperation in building infrastructure, in particular ports, airports and railways, the ministry's press service told Sputnik.The Second Russia-Africa Summit and Economic and Humanitarian Forum was held in St. Petersburg on July 27-28. The event was attended by Russia's Deputy Transportation Ministers Dmitry Zverev and Igor Chalik.According to the government agency, the topics discussed during these meetings were "the development of transport and logistics corridors, fostering cooperation in the creation of infrastructure (ports, airports and railways) and cultivating synergy in the field of transport education".

The Second Russia-Africa Summit and Economic and Humanitarian Forum was held in St. Petersburg on July 27-28. The event was attended by Russia's Deputy Transportation Ministers Dmitry Zverev and Igor Chalik.
"In accordance with the agenda outlined by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the plenary session of the Russia-Africa Forum, key issues of Russia's cooperation with African countries in the sphere of transport were discussed at the meeting of Dmitry Zverev with the Minister of Agriculture of Malawi, as well as at the meeting of Igor Chalik with the Minister of Transport, Urban Mobility and Road Safety of Burkina Faso," the ministry said on Monday.
According to the government agency, the topics discussed during these meetings were "the development of transport and logistics corridors, fostering cooperation in the creation of infrastructure (ports, airports and railways) and cultivating synergy in the field of transport education".
