The Senegalese consulate said in a statement to the Senegalese news agency that 191 citizens who emigrated illegally would leave Morocco on Sunday to return home.The diplomatic mission added that these citizens have been placed in reception and accommodation centers in the Moroccan cities of Dakhla and al-Argoub.According to the consulate, since last Wednesday, the Senegalese authorities have begun the process of repatriating 477 Senegalese migrants from Morocco.The consulate noted that 17 of them, including one woman, "are currently in the regional hospital in the city of Dakhla," adding that their medical condition is stable. The diplomatic mission confirmed that the remaining 54 are in a reception and accommodation center in Dakhla.On July 24, Senegalese local media reported that about 14 people died after a boat capsized off the coast of the Senegalese capital, Dakar.The Canary Islands' migration route, Europe's gateway to the Atlantic Ocean, has seen a marked increase in the number of migrants arriving from the coast of northwest Africa in recent weeks. Several incidents have been recorded over the past few weeks.

The Senegalese consulate in the Moroccan city of Dakhla announced on Sunday the repatriation of 191 Senegalese citizens from Morocco after their failed attempt to reach European shores by boat.
The Senegalese consulate said in a statement to the Senegalese news agency that 191 citizens who
emigrated illegally would leave Morocco on Sunday to return home.
The diplomatic mission added that these citizens have been placed in reception and accommodation centers in the Moroccan cities of Dakhla and al-Argoub.
"They are expected to arrive in the Senegalese city of St. Louis late Monday morning," the Senegalese mission said.
According to the consulate, since last Wednesday, the Senegalese authorities have begun the process of repatriating 477 Senegalese
migrants from Morocco.
"Yesterday, Saturday, July 29, the Royal Moroccan Navy rescued 71 citizens on a boat coming from the city of St. Louis and disembarked at the military port of Dakhla," the consulate added.
The consulate noted that 17 of them, including one woman, "are currently in the regional hospital in the city of Dakhla," adding that their medical condition is stable. The diplomatic mission confirmed that the remaining 54 are in a reception and accommodation center in Dakhla.
