The two-day Russia-Africa Summit kicked off on July 27. During the first day, Russian President Putin held a number of meetings with the leaders of the African nations, participating in the event.
The Russia-Africa Summit, taking place in St. Petersburg, enters its second and the final day.
During the second day, a number of panel discussions will be held in the frameworks of the Summit. Among them are a panel dedicated to Russia-Africa energy cooperation and a panel on cooperation between African nations and Russia in the field of developing technological sovereignty.
The Russia's president, Vladimir Putin, is also expected to hold a series of meetings with representatives of the African delegations, participating in the Summit. In particular, on Friday, Vladimir Putin will meet with Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki.
