Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on Monday called a Monday drone attack on objects in Moscow an act of international terrorism. The statement comes as earlier in the day, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said that at about 4:00 a.m. Moscow time (01:00 GMT), drone strikes on two non-residential buildings had been recorded in the Russian capital, adding that there was no serious damage or casualties. The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that the attack had been thwarted, saying that two Ukrainian drones had been suppressed by means of electronic warfare and crashed. It also stated that air defense forces had shot down three more drones, adding that there had been no casualties as result of the attempted attack. In the recent past, the Kiev regime attempted to conduct terrorist acts on the Russian soil on multiple occasions.Last week, the Russian National Anti-Terrorism Committee said that Kiev carried out a terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge using two underwater drones.
