In the latest update on the situation in the combat zone, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the armed forces shelled Ukrainian command and control points, as well as ammunition and fuel stocks. The Russian troops also destroyed other military equipment, including foreign ones.
According to the ministry's daily briefing on the progress of the special military operation in Ukraine, during the past 24 hours, Kiev has continued to undertake counterattack attempts in several directions. It was specified that in total, 18 attacks were thwarted by the Russian Armed Forces.

Military Personnel Neutralized

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops neutralized nearly 600 Ukrainian soldiers, including more than 265 in the Donetsk direction.
The Ukrainian forces lost over 75 soldiers in the Kupyansk direction, and up to 140 others in those of South Donetsk and Zaporozhye. In the Krasny Liman direction, the actions of a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group were thwarted, with Russian forces neutralizing up to 90 Ukrainian personnel. In the Kherson direction, they eliminated up to 30 Ukrainian soldiers.
It was noted that in total, Russian forces defeated four sabotage and reconnaissance groups, while three Ukrainian soldiers surrendered. In particular, a sabotage group of Kiev troops was eliminated while trying to land on two motor boats on Antonovsky Island in the Kherson region.

Heavy Shelling

Russian forces delivered a strike with high-precision weapons using sea and land-based platforms on Ukrainian control points of the operational-tactical group. According to the Ministry of Defense, all the appointed targets were hit and the strike’s mission was accomplished.

Armaments Destroyed

Russian air defenses shot down two Storm Shadow cruise missiles and five HIMARS rockets, as well as 12 unmanned aerial vehicles in the DPR and Zaporozhye region.
Among the destroyed artillery pieces are four D-20 howitzers, one D-30 howitzer, three Msta-Bs and one self-propelled howitzer. Apart from that, a US-made M777 artillery system was eliminated.
Russian forces also succeeded in razing an ammunition warehouse and a fuel depot. In total, in 24 hours, the Russian strikes targeted 85 artillery posts in 102 areas, hitting military personnel and equipment.
The ministry noted that Ukrainian forces continued unsuccessful attempts at offensive actions in the Donetsk, Krasny Liman, and South Donetsk directions.
Since the start of the special military operation in Ukraine, the Russian Armed Forces have shot down 444 planes, 240 helicopters and 4,845 drones. They also destroyed 426 surface-to-air defense systems, 10,430 tanks and other armored vehicles, 1,134 multiple rocket launchers, 5,291 field artillery and mortars, and 11,324 other military equipment.
