Sputnik Africa compiled the top 5 highest and lowest alcohol consumers in Sub-Saharan Africa.The ranking is based on the World Health Organization's latest report entitled "Monitoring Health for the SDGs and Sustainable Development", which provides figures for total alcohol consumption per capita.The two least-consuming nations in sub-Saharan Africa are Mauritania and Somalia. According to the report, both countries do not consume liquor at all.They are followed by Niger, whose total alcohol consumption per capita is 0.1 liter of pure alcohol.Fourth place in the rating of teetotalers went to Sierra Leone. The score of the West African country is 0.3 liters per capita.Rounding out the top five is Djibouti (0.4 liters per capita).The Other SideAs for the top five alcohol consumers in sub-Saharan Africa, Uganda is the leader in this area.
