The Moscow Prosecutor's Office is continuously monitoring the situation in connection with the introduction of the counter-terrorist operation (CTO) across the territory of the capital, with all operational units and services in maximum readiness mode, according to the department's telegram channel.It was noted that the law provides for a number of mandatory restrictions of citizens and organizations, including restrictions related to the movement and use of personal vehicles, as well as the use of communications, under the CTO regime. There is also a procedure for body search and inspection.The agency also warned political and public associations, the media and bloggers about the inadmissibility of disseminating false information. On Friday, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) opened a criminal case for inciting armed mutiny over statements made on behalf of the head of the Wagner Group private military company (PMC), Yevgeny Prigozhin. The FSB said that there was a threat of escalation on Russian territory. "If such actions are detected, legal liability, including criminal liability, will immediately follow.
