Ukrainian Woman That Planned to Take Orphans Out of Russia Detained in Moscow, Source Claims
15:06 30.05.2023 (Updated: 10:43 03.08.2023) MOSCOW (Sputnik) - A Ukrainian woman that came to Russia to take orphans from the territories incorporated into Russia last fall out of the country on the instructions of the fund "Save Ukraine" have been arrested in Moscow, a source in law enforcement agencies told Sputnik on Tuesday.
According to the source, the "Save Ukraine" foundation is affiliated with the Ukrainian
security services. Sputnik obtained a video of her confession.
"I, Gurulya Olga Petrovna, born on January 10, 1990, [arrived in Russia] to take custody of two children who are in Heniches'k [Kherson region] at the request of volunteer Anastasia […]. Anastasia asked me to arrange the formal guardianship of these children and take them to Germany," she said in the video.
The woman admitted that she is not a relative of the children and does not know them. She added that "volunteer Anastasia" completely funded the whole operation.
The suspect told the security forces that after registration of guardianship, she had to go further to Kyiv and from there to Germany.
“I assume that the children could have been left in Kiev, or maybe in Germany. <…> After I take them out of the Kherson region, they will tell me exactly what will happen next with these children,” she said.
The video also recorded Gurulya's conversation with one of the organizers of the operation for the illegal export of children, which she calls "Ekaterina."
Gurulya told "Ekaterina" that she had been detained, was in custody and was to be further deported to Belarus.
"It's okay ... we'll pick you up from there and take you to another ... another moment, the main thing is that everything is fine with you," "Ekaterina" answered Gurulya's question about what she would have to do after the deportation.
Judging by the words of Gurulya, uttered during a telephone conversation with "Ekaterina", she received instructions on what to tell the Russian authorities about the purpose of her visit in Poland.
According to a source in the Russian law enforcement agencies, several dozen children were planned to be taken abroad with the participation of the Save Ukraine Foundation.
"The ultimate goal of Gurulya's trip is to take the children to Germany, Munster, and hand them over to unknown people for a monetary reward. <...> According to our information, such an [kidnapping] scheme was supposed to ensure the abduction of several dozen children at the same time," the source said.
This fund, the source added, plays a role of "another information ram" against Russia and allegedly professionally solves the issues of exporting children from the liberated territories of the former Ukraine.
The West allocates large grants for this, and the topic of "deportation of children" has become one of the top topics in foreign media. A beautiful picture for the West of "rescue children" could end up for the children themselves with such "guardians". In fact, this is an organized kidnapping of the international level. Just to denigrate Russia with a new fiction, "the source believes.
Besides, the source in law enforcement agencies noted that dozens of orphans were planned to be taken out under this
scheme involving the Save Ukraine fund.
Following all necessary formalities, the Ukrainian woman was deported, the source said.
In April, Russian Ambassador to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya said that Kiev forcefully evacuated
children from families that refused to leave the territories of Ukraine incorporated into Russia last fall for the Ukraine-controlled territories.
Referendums on the entry of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions into the Russian Federation were held on September 23-27, 2022.
