South African police arrested the man accused of disseminating the pornographic images with superimposed faces of President Cyril Ramaphosa, Police Minister Bheki Cele, and Cele's wife, law enforcement announced.According to the police, the suspect was taken into custody on Sunday, by the Hawks' Serious Organized Crime Investigation team in Pietermaritzburg, a city in the country's east, and the Gauteng Crimes Against the State (CATS) team.The suspect was taken into custody along with a gadget and some used SIM cards. The measure of restraint and possible punishment for the suspect are yet to be known.Although its dissemination is restricted, pornography is technically permitted in South Africa, if it is not produced in the country.

South African police arrested the man accused of disseminating the pornographic images with superimposed faces of President Cyril Ramaphosa, Police Minister Bheki Cele, and Cele's wife, law enforcement
announced.According to the police, the suspect was taken into custody on Sunday, by the Hawks' Serious Organized Crime Investigation team in Pietermaritzburg, a city in the country's east, and the Gauteng Crimes Against the State (CATS) team.
"The investigation about pornographic images of unknown individuals with superimposed faces of the President, his Excellency, CR. Ramaphosa, Minister of Police, honourable B. Cele and his wife ensued in the beginning of May. The images were distributed to police officers and members of the public on social media platforms," the statement added.
The suspect was taken into custody along with a gadget and some used SIM cards.
"A multitude of
pornographic images were allegedly found on his device,” the police spokesperson told the local media.
