"Russian culture grew from the earth itself—from the hands that planted, harvested, prayed, and sang. In every song, there is life. Folk culture is a treasure; if we don’t protect it, we lose not just music—we lose our memory, our roots, ourselves," Babkina explained.
"Culture itself cannot be banned. Words might attempt it, but you cannot cut it out, ban it, or change it. It always retains its meaning," the artist pointed out.
"Regarding African culture, we've visited [the continent]. I'm always intrigued by what I’ll never be able to do myself, yet I find it fascinating and intriguing. I love the clothing and the elegance of the women, who appear as if they are glistening, adorned with all sorts of beads and rings. I adore it. It's something I find incredibly captivating," she said.
