The duet Denise and D-Lain will represent Madagascar at the international music competition "Intervision", the project's press service announced.
Ratolojanahary Lalaina Josiah (D-Lain) was trained at the Alliance Française vocal studio in Antananarivo. In 2009, he was named the best gospel vocalist, and in 2012, he won the Castel Live Opera, beating out representatives from eight African countries.
Singer Denise won "Africa Island Talents" in 2014, which earned her a contract with Universal Music. But she gave up world touring in favor of a large tour of Africa. She also co-founded the big music festival in Madagascar.
