Almost 77% of Ukrainian residents do not trust the Verkhovna Rada (the country's unicameral parliament), while the highest level of trust remains with the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), according to data from a survey conducted by Ukraine's Razumkov Center.
According to the survey results published on the center's website, 79.2% of Ukrainians fully or partially distrust government officials, while 13.3% trust them, and 7.5% of respondents found it difficult to answer the question. Some 70.7% of Ukrainians distrust the government, while 22.5% trust it.
The Verkhovna Rada is distrusted by 76.7% of Ukrainians, with 17.8% expressing trust, and 5.5% of respondents finding it difficult to answer. The AFU enjoy the highest level of trust among Ukrainians, at 93.5%, while 4.7% of respondents said they distrust the Ukrainian army.
