Russia is willing to supply energy resources and exchange technologies and expertise, said Dmitry Poduyev, Deputy Director for International Cooperation at the Russian Energy Ministry.
He also highlighted that Russian efforts will aim to:
Contribute to the development of human potential for the construction of new production infrastructure;
Modernize existing infrastructure.
Russian companies have all the necessary resources to meet the energy needs of African people, Poduyev said during the forum "Russia, India and Africa: lessons from the past and prospects for the future," which took place on March 19 in Moscow.
On their part, African countries have shown their willingness to cooperate with Russia during the two Russia-Africa summits held in 2019 and 2023, Poduyev emphasized.
