Issues related to the normalization of relations between Russia and the United States and the settlement in Ukraine remain unresolved, so Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump will discuss them in a telephone conversation, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.
The conversation between the Russian and US leaders is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
"There are also a large number of issues related to the further normalization of our bilateral relations and Ukrainian regulation. All this will have to be discussed by the two presidents," Peskov said, answering a question about the topics of the upcoming telephone conversation between Putin and Trump.

The conversation between Putin and Trump will take place from 4 pm to 6 pm Moscow time (13:00-15:00 GMT), Peskov said.
"It really will be 16:00 to 18:00 Moscow time, and indeed, as you know, there has been some discussion... There were talks in Moscow and Istanbul, and earlier there was a telephone conversation, the first telephone conversation between the two presidents. Therefore, there is a certain understanding, of course," Peskov said, adding that the leaders will talk on the phone today as much as they consider necessary.
Putin will not make a speech following the conversation with Trump, Peskov added.
"We will inform you about the results of this conversation [between Putin and Trump], as we usually do. We will do this as quickly as possible," Peskov told reporters.
