The United States is stopping all funding for South Africa over "terrible" farmer policies and is opening a fast citizenship track for South African farmers and their families, US President Donald Trump said on Friday.
He accused the country of mistreating farmers and confiscating their land. Trump also said he would launch a program allowing South African farmers to obtain US citizenship.
Earlier, South Africa denounced a "campaign of misinformation" following Trump's order to freeze aid, citing concerns about a law supposedly enabling land seizures from white farmers.
