Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelensky after failed talks with Trump did not admit he did anything wrong and did not apologize.
"No, I respect [the] president and I respect [the] American people, and if, I don't know, I think that we have to be very open and very honest, and I'm not sure that we did something bad," Zelensky said in a Fox News interview when prompted to apologize to Trump.
However, he admitted that it will be difficult for Kiev to win the conflict with Russia without US support.
"It will be difficult for us. That's why I'm here," Zelensky said.
Notwithstanding the spat, Zelensky is confident his relationship with Trump can be salvaged.
"Yes, of course, because this relation's more than two presidents'," he said.
