Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that Kiev misunderstood the real intentions of the West, which sooner or later will leave Ukraine without support.
"I think it was misunderstanding from their [Ukraine's] behalf [of] the real intention of the West. And they thought that the West will support them forever ... If you understand well the history of Western politics, this is a misconcept ... So I was sure that sooner or later they will be left alone," Orban told US journalist Tucker Carlson in an interview out late on Friday.
The West would propose a deal to Ukraine to avoid another world war or military conflict with Russia, Orban added.
