US President Donald Trump said that top officials from the US, Russia, and Ukraine will meet in Saudi Arabia next week.
"Tomorrow, there is a meeting in Munich, and then the next week there is a meeting in Saudi Arabia, not with myself or [Russian] President [Vladimir] Putin, but with top officials. And Ukraine will be a part of it too. And we're going to see if we can end that war," Trump said on Thursday during a joint press conference with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Upcoming contacts between Washington, Moscow, and Kiev will show whether it is possible to achieve the settlement of the Ukraine conflict, the president added.

Moreover, Trump said that high-level representatives of Russia, Ukraine, and the United States will sit down for a meeting on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference on Friday.
"They are having a meeting in Munich tomorrow. Russia is going to be there with our people. Ukraine is also invited, by the way; not sure exactly who is going to be there from any country, but high-level people from Russia, from Ukraine, and from the United States," Trump told reporters.
Zelensky's Adviser Says Ukraine Will Not Hold Meetings With Russia at Munich Conference
However, Ukraine does not intend to negotiate with Russian representatives at the Munich Conference, Zelensky's communications adviser, Dmytro Lytvyn, said.
"Ukraine must first talk to America. Europe must be a participant in any serious conversation for the sake of real and lasting peace. And only an agreed common position should be presented on the negotiating table with the Russians," Lytvyn was quoted as saying by the Suspilne broadcaster on Thursday.
The 61st Munich Security Conference will take place in Germany from February 14-16.
