Developing relations with African countries is one of the priorities of Russia's foreign policy, Vyacheslav Volodin, speaker of the Russian State Duma, the lower house of the Russian Federal Assembly, said at the meeting with Djibouti's National Assembly Chairman Dileita Mohamed Dileita.
Relations between Russia and African countries are built on the principles of friendship, non-interference in the affairs of sovereign states, the absence of double standards, and mutually beneficial cooperation, Volodin said.
Volodin stated that the meeting with the African official should boost relations between the two parliaments at all levels. He emphasized the importance of systemic interaction and finding new forms of cooperation to strengthen relations between the two countries.
