Zelensky Himself Answered How Soon Ukraine Conflict Can Be Ended, Says Russian FM Spokesperson

Russia was open to the negotiation process even before the start of the special military operation, when Moscow was only anticipating the development of events in Ukraine and the deterioration of the situation, Maria Zakharova, the Russian foreign ministry's spokeswoman, told Sputnik.

Volodymyr Zelensky himself answered how quickly the conflict in Ukraine can be ended when he said that the Kiev regime will not last a day without US help, Maria Zakharova, the Russian foreign ministry's spokeswoman, told Sputnik.
“I think I have heard versions that the Ukrainian conflict can be resolved in one day. Many, by the way, treated this ironically. But Zelensky himself answered this. He said that they would not last a day without American help. Doesn’t this seem like a coincidence to you? Here is the answer to the question,” Zakharova said.
Moscow repeatedly reiterated its readiness to hold negotiations. However, their goal should not be a simple temporary ceasefire, but achieving lasting peace, Russian authorities said.
