Europe should start normal dialogue with Russia, Robert Fico said on Thursday.
"I want normalization of relations with Russia. We must start a normal dialogue, because what is happening today is not normal. And I guarantee that once the war is over for everyone, everything will be as usual. Everyone will go there [to Russia]; everyone will want to buy and sell," Fico told the Folha de S.Paulo newspaper.
In July, Fico remarked that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban's visits to Kiev and Moscow are commendable, emphasizing the importance of seeking a path to peace in Ukraine.
In early July, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban made his first trip to Kiev in 12 years, where he urged Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky to contemplate a ceasefire with Russia in the hope of accelerating peace talks.
