2024 African Military Games Underway in Nigeria

On November 18, Nigeria's Vice President Kashim Shettima officially inaugurated the 2024 All-Africa Military Games (AMGA) in the capital, Abuja, where military delegations from 25 African countries have gathered to compete for medals in various sports disciplines.

The second African Military Games are underway in Abuja, Nigeria, from November 18 to 30, with 1625 athletes from 25 African nations competing in 19 sports.
With several events still to come, as of Wednesday, November 27, 422 medals have been awarded, including 171 gold, 129 silver, and 122 bronze.
