Plenary Session of Russia-Africa Partnership Forum's First Ministerial Conference

The First Ministerial Conference of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum is being held at Sirius University from November 9 to 10, following last year’s Russia–Africa summit. The event is organized by the Russian Roscongress Foundation.

Sputnik is live on Sunday, as the plenary session and closing ceremony with the participation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov take place on the second day of the conference.
Overall, the conference is attended by more than 1,500 participants, including over 40 ministers of foreign affairs, education and science, digital development and technology, economy, industry, health, youth policy from virtually all the countries of the African continent.
Participants are working within the framework of round tables and panel discussions on actual topics of the Russian-African agenda. Two dozen events are planned for the first day of the Conference. Experts will discuss the digitalization of public administration, interaction in the trade and economic sphere and education, information security, issues of cooperation between the EAEU and African countries.
