Russia, Venezuela to Cooperate in Solid Minerals Sphere in 2024-2026, Sputnik Correspondent Says

CARACAS (Sputnik) - Earlier, Russia's deputy prime minister said that the Russian side appreciates the results achieved in the relations with Venezuela. Russia and Venezuela remain strategic partners for each other, the official added.

Russia and Venezuela have signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of geology and subsoil use on solid minerals for 2024-2026, a Sputnik correspondent reported.
The document was signed during a meeting between Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, who was on a working visit to Caracas, and President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro.
Earlier, during a meeting of the Russian-Venezuelan high-level commission in an expanded format, a document on cooperation in the field of geology and subsoil use of hydrocarbon raw materials for 2024-2026 was signed.
Russia is ready to develop partnership in the field of military-technical cooperation with Venezuela and meet the needs of the country's armed forces, Chernyshenko also said at the meeting.
