Russia and Venezuela have signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of geology and subsoil use on solid minerals for 2024-2026, a Sputnik correspondent reported.
The document was signed during a meeting between Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, who was on a working visit to Caracas, and President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro.
Earlier, during a meeting of the Russian-Venezuelan high-level commission in an expanded format, a document on cooperation in the field of geology and subsoil use of hydrocarbon raw materials for 2024-2026 was signed.
Russia is ready to develop partnership in the field of military-technical cooperation with Venezuela and meet the needs of the country's armed forces, Chernyshenko also said at the meeting.
