Nigerian President Bola Tinubu ordered the release of all those detained for participating in mass anti-government protests, according to the local media.
These are 114 people in addition to the approximately 70 minors who were released earlier.
Nigerian Vice President Kashim Shettima explained the head of state's move as "humanitarian in nature, despite the overwhelming evidence of their involvement" in the unrest.
Earlier, the country's authorities arrested more than 200 participants in the October demonstrations, including minors. They were charged with treason and incitement to rebellion.
