An Israeli airstrike hit a multistory apartment block in the southern Beirut suburb of Jnah on Wednesday, causing massive damage, an eyewitness told Sputnik.
"The missile hit an apartment in an apartment block in Jnah. The entire floor exploded," the eyewitness said.
Lebanese media reported that an Israeli jet launched a high-precision strike at what was presumably the location of an Islamic Resistance commander.
Another eyewitness told Sputnik that Israel carried out a series of powerful strikes between the neighborhoods of Laylaki and Hadath in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
"Up to four strikes hit one place between Laylaki and Hadath. Several buildings were completely destroyed," the eyewitness said.
