Russia's Yug (South) group of forces eliminated up to 5,080 Ukrainian servicepeople over the past week, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday.
The Ukrainian armed forces lost up to 5,080 servicepeople, four armored combat vehicles, 24 cars and 22 field artillery guns, the ministry said in a statement, adding that the group has taken control of the Maksymilyanivka village in the DPR and repelled 23 counterattacks.
The Tsentr (Center) group of troops has repelled 59 counterattacks, eliminating up to 3,350 servicepeople, while the Zapad (West) group has repelled 25 counterattacks, eliminating over 3,150 Ukrainian troops.
Kiev has also lost over 2,745 servicepeople in battles with the Sever (North) group, while the Vostok (East) group has repelled seven counterattacks, eliminating up to 790 soldiers.
