International Forum BRICS+ Fashion Summit Gathers 20 Thousand People From Over 100 Countries

The first BRICS+ Fashion Summit took place from November 28 to December 2 last year in the Russian capital of Moscow. The event attracted over 60 delegations from around the world.

The International Forum BRICS+ Fashion Summit held in Moscow brought together about 20 thousand people from more than 100 countries, the press service of the event told journalists.

"The second BRICS+ Fashion Summit [...] collected more than 4 million views online, the offline summit was attended by about 20 thousand people. The participants and guests of the event were heads of fashion associations, designers, heads and teachers of educational institutions and other experts from more than 100 countries," the summit's organizers stated.

The BRICS+ Fashion Summit featured a business program with 250 speakers from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, Africa, and the CIS countries in 42 sessions. The Summit also featured the international designer exhibition "Heritage," which showcased over 150 designs by 50 designers from 47 countries.

"As part of the BRICS+ Fashion Summit, a fashion intensive course was held, the main topic of which was 'New Markets—New Prospects. Creating a Successful Fashion Brand in the Age of Globalization'," the organizers said, noting that it was conducted by 25 lecturers from 13 countries.
This year's forum took place from October 3 to 5, in the Russian capital of Moscow.
