Earlier in the day, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that the Lebanese Shia movement Hezbollah launched about 115 aerial threats toward civilian areas in northern Israel over several hours.
On Sunday, Lebanese Shia movement Hezbollah said its fighters had struck the Israeli military industrial complex Rafael north of the city of Haifa as a retaliatory measure to the attacks conducted by Israel in various areas of Lebanon on Tuesday and Wednesday.
From September 17-18, pagers and walkie-talkies exploded in various parts of Lebanon. According to the country's health ministry, 45 people were killed and more than 3,000 injured as a result of the blasts. The Hezbollah movement and the Lebanese authorities blamed Israel for the incidents. Israeli authorities have neither confirmed nor denied their involvement.
