Dmitry Smith, President of the Russian eSports Federation, presented a strategic solution for the esports industry at the Eastern Economic Forum, advocating for a common BRICS game store to boost the sector within the region.
He outlined two potential paths for esports development through the BRICS game store: first, there is a need to identify a breakout hit about the store and aggressively market it across the BRICS nations.

If the breakout hit doesn't come around with results within the next 18 months, the second path should be used. The second path is "artificial," and it suggests that the leaders of the BRICS countries agree to exclusively present every tenth game in the BRICS game store, he explained.
