Ethiopia's agreement with Rosatom on infrastructure construction is a significant step toward harnessing peaceful atom, Ethiopia's Minister of Innovation and Technology, Belete Molla, said.
The agreement was concluded in July 2023 on the sidelines of the 2nd Russia-Africa Summit.
Belete Molla explained the importance of cooperation with the Russian state nuclear company for the African country's development goals at a meeting with a Chinese delegation.
Representatives of the China National Nuclear Corporation met with the Ethiopian minister to discuss potential cooperation in infrastructure and human resource development in the nuclear energy sector.
