Moreover, Russia is satisfied with the development of its relations with Turkey, as the president underlined.
"We note with satisfaction the development of relations with Turkey. All this is taking place, of course, under the leadership and with the direct support of our friend, Turkish President [Recep Tayyip Erdogan]," Putin said.
Also, Turkey’s dedication to conflict resolution in Ukraine is noted by Russia with gratefulness, the Russian leader said.
"We note with gratitude the attitude of our Turkish friends to contribute to the resolution of crisis situations, including the crisis around Ukraine," Putin said.
Putin also pointed out that Russia carefully considers all Turkish initiatives on the navigation in the Black Sea.
"We carefully and with great respect consider all Turkish initiatives on this issue [navigation] and will remain in contact with you," Putin said.
The president added that the non-extension of the Black Sea Grain Initiative was not Russia's fault.
