Israel has carried out airstrikes on the outskirts of Syria's Damascus, leaving two civilians injured, the Syrian state-run SANA news agency reported on Sunday, citing a military source.
"Today at around 9:30 pm [18:30 GMT], the Israeli enemy carried out air aggression from Syria's occupied Golan Heights, targeting a number of objects on the outskirts of Damascus. As a result of aggression, two civilians were injured and property was damaged," the source was quoted as saying.
Syrian air defense repelled the attack, the source said.
