In December 2023, El-Sisi was reelected for his third term as president, securing 89.6% of the vote. He will occupy this position until 2030.
The inauguration ceremony will reportedly take place in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), an urban community east of Cairo where the Egyptian government and all major government agencies are set to be based.
El-Sisi will be sworn in by the Egyptian parliament in its new headquarters in the NAC, the report said. The reelected president is expected to address the nation during the ceremony, the sources told Cairo 24.
