Festivals like the World Youth Festival, which facilitate experience exchange, can help youth solve such global challenges as climate change and others, Abebaw Belay, a legal expert at the Ethiopian Ministry of Agriculture told Sputnik Africa on the sidelines of the event.
"There are so many challenges and opportunities that the youth of this world are facing. The climate change and the like challenges are there. But still the youth population of the world can face and can solve such kind of problems if we organize this kind of experience sharing festivals," he said
Such festivals are "very important because they create relationships among the participants of different countries," Bebay went on to say.
"The participants can share their experiences, their culture, their language and also the way they are doing things. So this is very important in terms of connecting and in terms of sharing experiences. This is really very important," the expert noted.
