At Least Five Killed, 10 Injured in Blast Organized by Al-Shabaab Militants in Somalia, Reports Say

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - Militants of the radical Islamist group al-Shabaab* have set off an explosion in the Somali capital city of Mogadishu, leaving five civilians dead and 10 others injured, media reported on Tuesday.

The explosion occurred at the crossroads in Mogadishu's Heliwaa district on Monday evening, the Somali National News Agency reported, citing local police. All the victims were on a minibus or a motorcycle at the time of the blast.
Somali security forces have launched an investigation into the incident, the report said.
