A fire broke out at the Volgograd oil refinery after the fall of a downed drone, no casualties were reported, Volgograd Region Governor Andrey Bocharov said.
"This night, air defense and electronic warfare systems repelled a drone attack on the territory of the Volgograd Region... As a result of the fall of the downed unmanned aerial vehicle, a fire broke out at the Volgograd oil refinery," the regional administration quoted Bocharov as saying in its Telegram channel.
On January 19, a fire broke out in four oil tanks in the Bryansk region. According to Governor Aleksandr Bogomaz, the cause of the fire was an explosive charge from a Ukrainian drone that was repelled by electronic warfare equipment.
