A delegation from Niger, led by the country's Prime Minister Ali Lamine Zeine, arrived in Moscow on January 16.
According to media reports, the delegation also plans to visit Serbia, Turkey and Iran.
These visits are aimed at "diversifying" Niger's partnerships; the authorities are open to collaborations in the field of defense, energy, health or agriculture, the outlet said.
In December last year, the prime minister told Sputnik that Niamey and Moscow intended to intensify their military cooperation.
