Africa is moving to the forefront of global economic development, Nigerian Vice President, Kashim Shettima said at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The fact that Africa is the world's youngest continent is not a demographic disaster that could engulf it, but rather a demographic advantage, he noted. Africa can become a driver of global change and global growth, according to the vice president.
Shettima also highlighted that while the growth of the global economy will depend on Africa, Nigeria will play a very important role in this development.
He went on to say that one in four Africans lives in Nigeria, at the same time, every African is a born entrepreneur, this potential just needs to be properly managed.
