Over 9,000 Civilians Killed in DPR Since 2014, Mission to JCCC Reveals

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - At least 9,152 civilians, including 233 children, were killed and 13,530 others were injured in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) since May 2014, the DPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) of issues related to Ukraine's war crimes said on Monday.

The mission added that since February 17, 2022, 4,778 civilians have been killed, including 142 children. During this time, the Ukrainian armed forces shelled the territory of the DPR 28,767 times, firing more than 156,000 rounds of ammunition.
In addition, since February 2022, more than 3,300 civilian infrastructure facilities have been damaged, including 193 medical and 674 educational institutions, the mission said.
