Russia Conducts 50 Group, One Massive Strike on Ukrainian Military Facilities, Defense Ministry Says

The Russian forces continue active combat work as part of the special military operation. Recently, the city of Maryinka in the Donetsk People's Republic has been taken in full control by Russia's armed forces.

Russian Air Forces successfully carried out 50 group and one massive strike with precision weapons and drones on the Ukrainian military facilities over the past week, including military industrial complex facilities, military airfields, arsenals, and weapons storage sites, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Friday.

"In the period from December 23 to December 29, the Russian Armed Forces inflicted 50 group and one massive strike with precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles on objects of the military-industrial complex, military airfield infrastructure, arsenals, as well as storage sites: artillery ammunition, unmanned boats, weapons and fuel for military equipment," the ministry said.

The ministry clarified that the locations of the Ukrainian armed forces units, formations of nationalists and foreign mercenaries were targeted.
"All designated facilities have been hit," the ministry stressed.
Russian troops continue sucessful combat work within the framework of the special military operation in Ukraine after stopping the widescale enemy counteroffensive of 2023. In December, the city of Maryinka in the Donbass region was liberated, Shoigu recently announced.
