David Cameron, who served as the UK prime minister from 2010 to 2016, has been appointed as the new foreign secretary of the country, the UK prime minister’s office said on Monday.
"The Rt Hon David Cameron has been appointed Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs," the office wrote on X.

David William Donald Cameron, 57, became the country's Prime Minister after the 2010 general election, leading the coalition government with the Liberal Democrats.
During his time in office, Cameron intervened militarily in the First Libyan Civil War and authorized the bombing of the state. In 2016, his home secretary, Theresa May, succeeded Cameron, who resigned as prime minister.
