The Israeli Prime Minister's office stated on Wednesday that the country's PM, Benjamin Netanyahu, is determined to strengthen ties with the nations of Africa and boost cooperation in innovation, agriculture, food security and water.
"The Prime Minister expressed Israel’s readiness for cooperation that could contribute to African stability and prosperity," the office said.
It said Netanyahu praised the African Union’s accession to the G20 as a permanent member.
"The Prime Minister invited the two leaders to visit Israel and both replied that they would be pleased to accept the invitation," the office said.
